About Moi

About Moi Hello, hello and welcome to my blog! I’m Sharmili but you can call me Mili. I’m a 25 year old skincare addict living in the suburbs or NYC. I’ve been active on this space since 2012 and have blogged about a variety of topics through the years. At the moment, this site is primarily focused on skincare and beauty but who knows what kind of topics I’ll introduce in the future! 2019 is a year of spontaneity! But while we’re talking about beauty, I believe it’s useful for me to share some more about my skin and hair and all that jazz so it can be a point of reference. Beauty is very personal and everybody’s experience with products is going to be unique. Just because something works for me, doesn’t mean it’ll also work for you and vice versa. Reading reviews can be a useful frame of reference so you can set expectations for how a product might work for you. For instance if I say a moisturizer is too mattifying for my dry skin, it might be perfect for you if you have oily skin. Onto my own skin— I’ve been suffering from acne since I was in middle school and have experienced the full spectrum of skin-types. At the moment, my skin is prone to dehydration (especially when the heat or A.C. is on) with a sprinkling of breakouts during visits from that b*tch Aunt Flo. In the summer my skin is normal and in winter it’s drier. I also occasionally talk about haircare around here. I’m prone to dandruff and have wavy/ curly hair. And now that we’ve gotten to know each other, I just wanted to thank you for reading! If you would like to get in touch, please visit my contact page linked above.
