argyle tights

When I think printed tights, I usually think clearance bin rejects (not that there's anything wrong with that-- the clearance is the first section I hit up at most stores.) Then last week while re-watching the last season of The Office, I happened across Dakota Johnson, which lead me to admiring her style, which lead me to these Alice and Olivia argyle tights!

I'm one of those people who is fine with wearing all black all day every day. Instead of wearing a rainbow of colors and patterns I play by the "it's in the details" handbook. These tights are the perfect way to add a fun pattern to an otherwise tame outfit. Plus, with tights I can keep wearing my favorite button down skirts from the summer. It's a win win situation all around!

On an unrelated note, I've recently picked up an interest in brush lettering. This here was my first completed attempt! If anyone has an useful tips or links to tutorials etc, please feel free to share :)
