Here's Santa Barbara post numero dos, along with a mini highlight of what I saw:

Stearns Wharf: It was totally touristy, but still worth the visit. You get beautiful views of the entire marina plus the city with the mountains looming in the background. We grabbed snacks from the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company which wasn't as impressive. The crab was good but the fried calamari and shrimp was seriously lacking.
Shoreline Park: All the gratuitous beach pictures you see are from Shoreline Park + the attached beach. It was by far the best part of my trip. After parking for free (because who doesn't like free parking), you descend down a zillion stairs and step onto the most beautiful beach.
State St: Because I like cute, touristy, downtown places.
Los Agaves: Pretty sure this is the most reviewed restaurant in Santa Barbara on yelp, and for good reason. It's delicious Mexican food with speedy service and a plentiful salsa bar. Plus, when we went for dinner we had no problem finding street parking since most of the other local businesses are closed at night.

P.s the post title is in reference to an episode of Psych, which coincidentally takes place in Santa Barbara.
