oversized comfort

My personal style philosophy definitely places comfort above all. Therefore it makes sense that I tend to gravitate toward looser, unstructured pieces-- like this grey sweater. I'm not exactly sure if it's a top, tunic, or dress. We can just blame this mystery on h&m's odd sizing. Whatever it is, I wore it many ways for the better part of my break. Here I "spiced" it up with the burgundy fedora to give off a "I tried, but not really" vibe.

sweater: h&m, jeans: genetic denim, shoes: converse, hat: forever 21

  9. Lol, H&M really does have the worst sizing! However, love how you styled this. Comfy and casual is the way to go! Plus the burgundy hat is gorgeous!

  14. Haha ohhh H&M, so schizo with its sizing. Honestly, your style is one of my most favorite to check out on the blogosphere- you take simple pieces and make them incredibly chic, which is something pretty hard to do. I've recently been trying to do the same but I'm always slightly worried I come across as plain. You just always look chic and effortless. Teach me your waaaaays!

  17. You always pull of the "I tried, but not really" vibe perfectly. You just have this natural "cool girl" appeal to you, from your style to your writing, you just exude "I'm cool" and that's one of the reasons why I love your blog. And I've also been gravitating towards looser pieces, but I for sure blame it on my laziness...haha
